When style and passion intertwine with history, timeless creations are born. For the 74th edition of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance®, Outlierman designers have created a limited-edition set paying tribute to the legendary 1932 Invicta S-Type Carbodies Tourer, emblem of the event and icon of English automotive design. A celebration of ingenuity, movement and elegance that has crossed eras and continents, now brought to life on silk with true Italian mastery.
Handmade by our seamstresses in Como, the silk tie and scarf are an elegant tribute to a “supercar” ahead of its time, both featuring a unique pattern that conveys the soul of the S-Type through a visual language rich in period details and inspirations.
The streamlined profile of the car, the headlights, the straps, the horn, skillfully illustrated, capture the character of a car produced in only 77 units but immediately became a symbol of elegance and competitive spirit, while the quote from Invicta founder Noel Macklin - “The essential characteristic of the Invicta was luxurious speed” - perfectly sums up the visionary spirit and boldness of those years.

The refined green of both designs is inspired by the colors of the 2025 California concours, while the tail of the tie is enriched with the official The Outlierman x Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance® logo, a hallmark detail of all collectible designs created during a prestigious nine-year partnership.
Invicta: 100 years of automotive spirit
Founded in 1925 by Noel Macklin in Cobham, England, Invicta produced cars for just a decade but left an indelible mark. The first models, lightweight and spirited, were tested by driver Violette Cordery, who set records at Brooklands, Monza and Montlhéry. The brand’s masterpiece was the S-Type, with under-slung chassis and a Meadows 4½-litre engine, capable of 100 mph and winner of the Monte Carlo Rally in 1931. Production ended in 1935, but Invicta’s legacy lives on thanks to collectors and enthusiasts, with the S-Type starring in events such as the Mille Miglia, Goodwood Revival, Flying Scotsman Rally, and awarded at the Blenheim Concours.
