The 2025 season of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) concluded with a result that will resonate for decades in the world of global competition: Ferrari has claimed the World Constructors’ Championship title. A triumph that is not only a sporting victory, but the signature of a chapter written 53 years after the last overall endurance crown.
For Ferrari, this success represents the 24th world title in endurance racing overall, a tally that includes both outright and class victories since the FIA championship was founded in 1953.
The championship confirmed the technical superiority and determination of the Maranello marque. The star of this season was the Hypercar 499P, a hybrid machine that combines tradition with advanced technology. The Constructors’ title was accompanied by the Drivers’ title, won by the No. 51 crew of Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi.

The Meaning of the Return
The last outright endurance success dated back to Ferrari’s golden era, which is why Ferrari President John Elkann described the reconquest of the 2025 title as the “fulfillment of a dream” and “a milestone that fills us with pride.”
Elkann also emphasized the importance of unity: “Ferrari wins when it is united, that is what the WEC result taught us,” adding, “When everyone is together, great things can be achieved.”

The Numbers of a Great Season
The success in WEC 2025 was the result of a season conducted with consistency. Ferrari – AF Corse achieved with its 499Ps three victories (in Qatar with the No. 50 crew, at Imola and in Belgium with the No. 51), two second places, and three third places, along with three pole positions (at Lusail and Imola with Pier Guidi-Calado-Giovinazzi, and at Spa with Fuoco-Molina-Nielsen).
The season also featured a triple podium at Lusail in the debut race (with the No. 83 499P finishing second) and two double podiums at Imola and Spa (including the car in Giallo Modena livery). Notably, AF Corse also secured the FIA World Cup for Hypercar Teams reserved for independent squads, and triumphed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Ye-Kubica-Hanson.
The final race saw the Maranello cars remain at the front thanks to excellent stints and flawless strategy.

The Drivers’ Title: A Historic First
For Pier Guidi, Calado, and Giovinazzi, the victory marks their first outright Drivers’ crown in the endurance top class. Before 2023, Ferrari’s top category (until 1973) awarded only the Constructors’ title. For Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado, this is their fourth Drivers’ title overall, adding to the three already won in the LMGTE Pro class in 2017, 2021, and 2022.
The drivers expressed gratitude for the team’s effort: “Excellent teamwork,” they declared. In particular: “We thank the entire Ferrari – AF Corse team and all the people who, on track and in Maranello from the remote garage, gave us this joy.”
This success confirms Ferrari’s strength in global motorsport.
